2012 Pricing Update

By all accounts, 2011 has been a banner year for LVAC. My working hours have been longer and more consistent than ever before. I've had the opportunity to work with tons of new customers and put my efforts behind a slew of very exciting projects. I love what I do and I'm immensely grateful to every person who has allowed me to live this dream. Unfortunately, the past few years also brought along with them some serious increases in my overhead - the skyrocketing cost of cotton has driven blank garments up by 30% or more in many cases, my primary ink manufacturer has raised their prices 5-10% across the board, and high fuel costs means that shipping anything anywhere costs that much more. I know that none of us are millionaires - heck, half of my customers are charities and non-profit groups! - so I've always tried to maintain the lowest possible pricing for my customers. Unfortunately, after absorbing all those increases over the past two years, I have no choice but to finally adjust my prices to reflect my ever increasing overhead. If you've gotten a job quoted in the past month or so, don't sweat, I'll honor the price I gave you. Watch the website for some new special packages that will run for the first few months of 2012. Ideally, those will help us all ease into the new prices with some of our projects.

In addition to the new pricing, we also took the time to add a few new pics to the portfolio page, if you'd like to check out some of the cooler products that have been coming out of these humble surroundings as of late.

SUMMER TOUR!

From May 17th until June 4th I will be traversing the US w/ dear friends Snowing. As you probably know by now, this is a one man operation - which means there won't be any printing done while I'm gone! I can't guarantee any orders placed after MAY 1st will be completed before I leave. If you've been meaning to place an order to be ready for late spring, NOW IS THE TIME! As an added incentive, I'm going to offer 1/2 off of all setup on all orders finalized BEFORE APRIL 22nd! NEWS!

WHOA! I finally set up a Facebook page for LVAC and have been putting in hours of work on a proper website! It feels great to make some long needed progress on the internet front. This blog will continue to exist to keep everyone updated - this will be the place to look for day-to-day news and whatever SALE I decide to run for a limited period of time.

In other news, I will be out of town from October 23rd until October 31st. This has been a really great year so far filled with tons of printing and going on tour, but I am excited to get a nice little break for that week. If you need you shirts before I leave, artwork must be submitted by October 12th. NO EXCEPTIONS. I will still be working for the week before I leave and I will finish all orders placed after that date within a few days of returning! You've got ONE WEEK left to finalize those designs! Let's print some shirts!

Summer News/Sale/Tour (again!)

Thanks to the tireless efforts of Andy and all those at HOMEBASE SKATESHOP, the BETHLEHEM SKATEPLAZA has finally come to fruition - giving our local community something to celebrate and giving me more than enough printing work to keep me sweating away the summer in the cramped LVAC workshop! The lead up to this whole event was crazy hectic and it's really awe-inspiring to see it all come together. I don't expect things to slow down much for the rest of the summer - and to help guarantee that, I'm running two specials until the leaves start to change and cooler temperatures take over.

Special 1: All orders over 50 shirts will now include 100 1" buttons for FREE!

Special 2: All standard white shirts are discounted 50 cents per piece!

The only trick is that you can only take advantage of ONE special per order. Well, that and you gotta mention the promotion when you place you order. Simple enough, right?

One final bit of news - I am going on tour with my dear friends SNOWING from August 1st until the 6th. It shouldn't cause too many problems, but be prepared to wait a little longer than usual if you get your order in later than JULY 25th.

As the spring thaw begins and we finally escape from the doldrums of winter, there have been tons of new happenings 'round the LVAC. The website has been entirely neglected lately because I have been up to my eyes in printing. Some new pics are still on their way, as well as some potential changes to the pricing system (specifically better breaks on higher quantity orders)... but none of that is quite ready yet. While you are anxiously awaiting all that news, check out this video that friend and occasional co-conspirator Bill Kilgannon (aka the Complete Strategist) made for a multimedia class he's taking in college...
